So, I received an email from my uncle.

看着朋友一个一个的回家...

我不想多问，也不想多关心,因为我不想知道.

知道得越多就越想家.

虽然很想回家，但还是多遍地说服自己呆在美国肯定比较充实.

家永远在那.

就再多两年而已,眨一下眼就到了.

呆在美国的机会不多，自己一定要好好珍惜，把每一天活得精彩.

该去的地方都得去，该做的东西都得做.

很多事情回到家就不可能做了.

而且，两年后要回来也不太可能了.

我开始喜欢这里，这里的人事物. 每一天遇见不同的新鲜事.

我可能变了，但是往好的方向是吧？应该是的...

人生就像连续集吧？

我必须把我在美国的这集演得好，将来回头一看也不会后悔.

它将会是最好看的其中一集.

Working time!

It's working time!

I worked 8 hours today at three different places!

That's a bit insane but I'm kind of enjoyed it!

Tomorrow I gotta wake up at 6 for my work from 7am to 2pm.

After that, I can officially declare that my summer break have started!

Good Mood

I'm in a good mood now!

I'm done with my finals today.

I'm going to meet Mr and Mrs Tindall tomorrow.

I'm so looking forward to seeing them!

My life here is good!

I miss my friends back in Malaysia.

Nvm, 2 more years then I'm done and I can see them at that moment.

And, I miss the food in Penang!

It's a test on Sunday again! I suppose it went pretty well.

Now, I gotta study for my last final of this semester.

After 10am tomorrow, my working engine is on.

I'm going to work insanely every single day till Friday.

I need money for travelling! :)

Mother's Day

It's mother's day!

Last week, my mom asked me to send her a card for mother's day. And since then, she keeps on asking whether did I send her a card. My answer is always no. I could sense that she sounds disappointed.

Well, she didn't know that I did send her a card. But, it's still not yet reaching the post box. For sure, she will feel surprised. :)

Quite a few of things came to my mind today.

Sadness.

1. The classes I like ended.

Art class - I learned a lot about contextual art. Sandy opened my eyes towards art.

English class - I'm going to miss the enthusiasm of sir.

Old time

An old friend chatted with me just now.

It's been 9 years since the last time i saw him.

It's good to hear an old friend is doing good.

That's my 1st summer break trip!

It took me 3 nights to confirm all the stuffs.

$ 300+ was gone for transportation and accommodation. :(

It's going to be a challenging trip because it involves a lot of travels and uncertainties.

Planned for 3+ hours but ended with nothing.

Side post: There's an old guy talking to me at the bus stop today. He thought I was Chinese from China. Well, I didn't do any explanation at that time. And, he kept on asking me China's stuffs. I just simply answered. XD

When I was leaving, he said:"Enjoy as much as you can, you might not be here tomorrow."

Hmm... Interesting. A sentence to think about.

Easter

This is my first time ever celebrating Easter.

I went to Jared's place and stayed over there.

It's a 3+ driving to his house in Illinois.

That's Jared's house in the middle of the fields.

We stopped halfway at a state park. He explained to me everything about the park because he is working for the natural resource department. He used to burn a lot of the plants, even now.

First day not doing much, but playing with his cat with a string.

Second day went to a church in the morning.

We had a lunch with all the dishes his mom cooked. It's a good meal.

Well, I helped Jared to cook carrot dish also. :)

And in the afternoon, I drove a tractor!

It's so cool that I got to drive a tractor!

We went to his grandpa's house. It's also a house in the middle of fields.

His grandpa was busy showing us his antiques which soon to be sold. He said he's going to die soon. Those antiques can be sold and the money earned can be distributed among his children.

We got some rhubarb there and I took some back. I'm going to cook them.

This's my first time seeing rhubarb.

Jared's busy picking rhubarb. Rhubarbs' leaves are poisonous but their stems taste good. That's a new piece of knowledge I learnt.

Btw, Jared looks different in his so called 'spring burn beard' that prevent him from staying too close to the fire when he's working.

Jared is really a good guy!

I spent 4+ hours to figure out which classes I should take in the future.

Roughly, I have something in my mind now. I feel more secured now I guess.

2nd time in Chicago. Day trip again.

1st time went to an aquarium in the states.

Smile

I realized something. Smile is important. It can make you feel happy, at least when you smile. When you are sad, just force yourself to smile. Somehow, I will feel happy at that particular moment. It works for me. You should try it out. Even if something bad happens, just smile. What I mean is you really physically smile. :)

9 April

This is probably one of the happiest day in this this semester.

I went to Devil's Lake Park, the state park of Wisconsin.

It was fun. I met some new friends. I saw beautiful scenery. Life is beautiful.

I spent half of the day at there. I had nothing to think about, just to enjoy the life, climbing the hill with newly met friends. Some of them are funny.

The steps're steep. Life might be steep at some points for you to achieve something.

Back to school, worked at the usual place I used to work.

I talked to a cool guy that I used to think he was but in fact he's not.

He told me a lot about his perspectives towards life.

"Whatever it is, stay positive." He said.

I learnt something from him. He's reading Tao Te Ching right now and we talked from there.

He explained we have to be like water as it is discussed in "Tao", the ways we should live no matter in what kinds of conditions.

I'm impressed by him. His name is Brendan, an American from D.C.

"Feel-Ly-Ya Pie-E-Ty", he taught me so to pronounce a word.

He invited me to his band music practice in his home after working, but I ended up staying in friend's birthday party.

I feel like I need to talk with him more, maybe sometime in the future.

First holiday ever due to blizzards!
